As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide high-quality care to adult patients in acute medical and outpatient settings. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and resilience.
Key Clinical ResponsibilitiesPsychological and Neuropsychological Assessments
- Evaluate patients for conditions such as traumatic brain injuries (TBI), musculoskeletal injuries, dementia, cognitive impairments, and psychological trauma.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to create actionable insights for individualized care plans.
Treatment Planning and Intervention
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Crisis Intervention and Acute Care
- Conduct evaluations for Baker Act (involuntary psychiatric commitment) and Marchman Act (involuntary substance abuse commitment) cases.
- Provide timely crisis management to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Act as a consultant for trauma, neurology, and other departments, ensuring mental health is integrated into comprehensive care plans.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Patient and Family Support
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and strategies for long-term care.
- Promote understanding and adherence to treatment plans to support sustained health.
- Base Salary
: $135,000 annually. - Annual Bonuses

- Educational Background
:
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology with an active or eligible Florida license. - Training
:
Completion of a 2-year postdoctoral training program. - Skills
:
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. - Experience
:
Preferred experience in medical or interdisciplinary care environments.
