Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our patient-centered healthcare team in Florida. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards while ensuring a positive patient experience. You’ll collaborate with skilled providers and support staff who work together like family to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate and high-quality X-rays as ordered by the provider, practicing radiation safety precautions in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
- Prepare, process, and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
- Room patients and record vital signs, medical history, and relevant information as needed.
- Assist patients and providers with transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation.
- Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure adequate inventory of supplies.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently when needed.
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork while maintaining professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. - Certification:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). - Licensure:
Must hold a current Florida Radiologic Technologist license. - Experience:
No prior experience required – new graduates are welcome. - BLS Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Base Pay: $24.93 – $36.15 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $7,500 - Relocation assistance may be available
