Job Description:- Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures.
- Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.
- Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
- Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants. Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient.
- Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy. Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range: $23.71 - $44.09
