- Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM
- Some travel required to the Lady Lakes office - Weekly
- Disposes of radioactive materials and stores radiopharmaceuticals following radiation safety procedures.
- Prepares stock radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to workers and patients.
- Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provides assistance during test procedures.
- Processes cardiac function studies using a computer and records and processes results of procedures.
- Maintains and calibrates radioisotope and laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
- Gathers information on patients' illnesses and medical history to guide the choice of diagnostic procedures for therapy.
- Trains and supervises student or subordinate nuclear medicine technologists.
- Develops treatment procedures for nuclear medicine treatment programs and participates in performance improvement projects.
- Calculates, measures, and records radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed of, following physician's prescription.
- Detects and maps radiopharmaceuticals in patients’ bodies using a camera to produce photographic or computer images.
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients to detect or treat diseases under the direction of a physician.
- Produces computer-generated or film images for interpretation by a physician.
High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range: $31.55 - $58.69
