• Teach and develop curriculum for the Sonography Program, including goal determination, curriculum development, and outcomes assessment.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current with medical sonography practices.
• Provide service to students and contribute to public service initiatives.
• Maintain a high level of technical and subject‑matter knowledge in specific diagnostic sonography disciplines.
• Exhibit initiative, resourcefulness, and adaptability in the educational setting.

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Bachelor’s degree or related healthcare/education discipline preferred).
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with credentials in Abdominal and OB/GYN, and in good standing with ARDMS.
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential preferred.
• Maintain all credentials on a continuous basis.
• At least 2 years of clinical practice as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in the specified concentrations.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills.
• Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and their application to pedagogy.
• Commitment to teaching a diverse student population.
• High technical skill and subject‑matter expertise in the field.
