TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Master Scheduler
. This highly visible role serves as the central link between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Inventory teams, ensuring customer demand, production capacity, inventory strategy, and material availability are aligned to support business growth and operational performance. Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support customer demand, inventory objectives, and manufacturing capacity.
Translate forecasts, sales projections, and customer requirements into actionable production plans.
Balance labor, equipment, material, and capacity constraints to optimize manufacturing performance.
Monitor schedule execution and adjust plans based on changing demand, production challenges, and business priorities.
Drive schedule adherence and improve production planning effectiveness.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to align demand and supply plans.
Support SIOP/S&OP processes by providing planning insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
Monitor inventory performance and recommend actions to improve service levels while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
Analyze production constraints and identify opportunities to improve throughput, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain planning metrics, reports, forecasting tools, and performance dashboards.
Identify and communicate risks related to inventory, capacity, demand fluctuations, and supplier performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecast accuracy, schedule attainment, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Utilize ERP and MRP systems to support production planning, material management, and inventory control.
Maintain planning parameters, master data, and system records to ensure schedule accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, supply chain planning, or related operations roles.
Proven experience developing and managing Master Production Schedules (MPS).
Strong understanding of demand planning, material planning, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
Experience leading or supporting SIOP/S&OP processes in a manufacturing environment.
Experience utilizing ERP and MRP systems to support planning and scheduling activities.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and inventory control strategies.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Procurement, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing, industrial, or production-focused industry experience strongly preferred.
