- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team:
Cultivate a guest-first culture, ensure every interaction is welcoming and efficient; mentor and support Shift Managers and team members through training and coaching; empower teams by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and leading by example; foster open communication and collaboration across all shifts - Support Operational Excellence:
Assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability; monitor and manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control; drive promotional execution, ensure food service compliance, and elevate the in-store experience; ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with Race Trac brand standards - Champion Food Safety & Compliance:
Conduct regular food quality checks and coach the team on food safety standards; ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies; maintain and organize required documentation for audits or inspections - Drive Results Through
Collaboration:
Analyze reports, identify trends, and take action to improve store performance; support team scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the General Manager; provide performance feedback and help drive accountability across the team
- 3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership
- 1+ year of management experience preferred
- Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments
- Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales
- High School Diploma or GED, in progress or completed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed
- Willing to obtain and maintain food handler and alcohol server permits (if required)
