The ideal candidate will oversee safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day to day operations of the company, and coordinate a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.
Responsibilities- Coordinates production schedule to meet customer needs.
- Ensures OSHA and other environmental compliances.
- Ensure the machinery is functional.
- Make sure that the products and machinery are in line with regulatory standards.
- BA/BS preferred or requisite manufacturing industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment, managing 80-100 direct reports.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP applications. SAP preferred.
- Required to work a flexible schedule, overtime when necessary.
- Experience with safety and environmental health regulations.
- Proficiency in MS office programs.
- Knowledge of GMP/SQF requirements.
