The Production Associate performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. Tasks include disassembly, calibration and testing, assembly, injection molding, light machining, soldering, screening, packaging, and packing to established methods. The position follows standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Read routing and perform work as assigned by department supervisor
- Calibrate units per specifications, by product number and type
- Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment
- Test product functional performance to ensure conformance to specifications
- Attach appropriate labels to products and packages
- Understand serialized processes and match calibration certificate to specific product
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- Place finished goods in designated box or pallet
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet daily metrics as communicated by manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma, General Education Degree, or equivalent
- 0-2 years of prior relevant production experience
- Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read/speak English
- Attention to detail
- Work well within a team, maintain pace while ensuring high quality standards; assist other team members as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet and maintain high attendance standards
- Understand LEAN principles for continuous improvement
- Basic keyboarding skills and understanding of Microsoft Office products; use of email
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment; works efficiently under pressure and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic and ability to excel within a rapidly changing organization
- Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over one full work shift (8‑12 hours)
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over one full work shift (8‑12 hours)
- Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (up to 25 lbs.) with reasonable accommodation
- Hourly: $15 per hour, depending on location, experience, and qualifications
