Job Responsibilities

Perform administrative duties to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data, facilitating communication to the production line.

Handle clerical tasks related to releasing jobs into the shop.

Create cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings, and electronic files necessary for shop operations and manufacturing equipment.

Develop job folders and generate shop drawings by work center.

Batch jobs and create cutting reports.

Generate automated saw files and projection fabrication files.

Release jobs to the production team and update scheduling statuses.

Edit work orders in online software for shop labor tracking.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; or 18 months of truss fabrication experience.
