Job Description
Industrial Engineer, Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing lean practices, and ensuring optimal efficiency.
What You Will Be DoingLead cross‑functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across the manufacturing footprint.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Drive improvements in productivity and quality.
- Develop layout designs for equipment and work spaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct time studies and data analysis to uncover bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize material flow.

Ocala, Florida.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment or 3 years with a Master’s Degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and work spaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Proven track record in work measurement and time standards.
- Proficiency with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
- Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
- Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, Flex Sim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Extensive experience in large‑scale facility space planning activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to drive strategic decision‑making through clear reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
