Position located in Ocala, Florida. Compensation: $20.50 + $2.00 shift differential.

Work schedule:

Sunday-Wednesday, 7pm – 5:30am, Full-time.

The  Logistic Team Leader manages their team's activity to achieve the defined objectives, ensuring compliance with internal processes, health & safety rules, and customer specifications.

• Plans, manages, and controls teamwork, sets clear rules, objectives, and expectations.
• Communicates roadmap and goals, understands team members’ motivations, and inspires them.
• Establishes routine communication/monitoring/measurement of activities.
• Provides regular feedback (recognition, improvement, reframing) and coaching as needed.
• Promotes process improvement and internal innovation.
• Scales workforce and equipment per volume forecasts; prioritizes operations.
• Maintains communication with the customer and coordinates specific requirements.
• Applies health and safety rules; prevents operational problems.
• Conducts equipment checks, analysis and corrective actions.
• Organizes the workplace, verifies procedures, and responds to audits.
• Provides key performance indicators, monitors and communicates deviations; initiates corrective measures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1–2 years of higher education or equivalent experience.
• Training in transport, logistics and management.
• At least 1 year professional experience in team leadership.
