Maintenance | Electrician Level 2 - 1st Shift (Sales) WHERE YOU WILL WORK

At our Closet Maid facility in Ocala, FL

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Overtime when needed)

WHO YOU ARE

Employee maintains production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and have the ability to make logical decisions as it relates to the maintenance of the equipment.

Major Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Set up, maintain and repair production equipment and factory support systems.
  • Check and repair all plant wiring safely.
  • Electrically trouble shoot and repair plant equipment.
  • Layout and install electrical wiring per N.E.C. and local codes.
  • Perform light mechanical repairs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Must exhibit safe work practices.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime.
  • Maintain specific quality standards.
  • Assist in training others in electrical related functions.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity.
  • All work must be neat and workmanship like.
  • Ability to work in a team environment & maintain regular attendance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 or more years of industrial mechanic experience
  • Lockout/Tagout knowledge
Preferred
  • Forklift, Scissor Lift and Bucket Lift certifications
  • Lockout/Tagout Certification
