We seek a senior technician to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment, support the Operations Maintenance team with design solutions and project management, and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.

Responsibilities- Maintain and oversee facility equipment, such as Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems.
- Lead a team of service technicians, develop training plans, and oversee vendors for planned and emergency repairs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
- Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; develop job plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
You must be able to move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching as required.
Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
- Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 4+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 4+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
- 4+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics
- 4+ years of demonstrating safety standards
- 3+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items
- Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field from a vocational school or college
- Experience in a shift lead capacity, training and mentoring technicians
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to grow within Amazon RME
- Experience coordinating maintenance with multiple stakeholders (Operations, Safety, etc.)
- 4+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
- 2+ years experience with PLC-based controls systems
- 2+ years experience with robotic operation and maintenance
- Project Management experience

The base salary range is listed below. Your package may include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
