Compensation: $30.60–$45.90/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: Nights +$4.25/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Days – $10,000 | Nights – $15,000

A high-acuity 48-bed Intensive Care Unit in Ocala is seeking an experienced ICU RN to join a fast-paced, trauma-level environment. This role involves caring for complex and unstable patients with the support of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Nurses in this unit practice at a Level I trauma–level standard and are encouraged to pursue continuous clinical and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ICU nursing care
- Perform and document assessments, monitoring, and procedures as ordered
- Administer medications safely and monitor therapeutic responses
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, plans of care, and follow-up needs
- Support prevention, lifestyle, and disease-management education
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives to support patient safety and quality outcomes
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 3 years), high acuity preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or CCRN certification within 1 year of hire
