Job Summary

We are hiring an LPN Med Surg at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital
. The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality nursing care in a fast‑paced medical/surgical environment.

• Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, including administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring and respiratory support.
• Closely observe patients for subtle changes in status—shifts in heart rhythm, oxygen levels, or neurological signs—and rapidly escalating concerns to support early intervention.
• Document timely, accurate updates to facilitate effective team coordination in a high‑acuity setting.
• Help patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort.
• Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care toward recovery.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• LPN/LVN licensed in the state of Florida.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited vocational nursing school.
