Pay Range: $30.60 to $45.90/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr (Nights) | $3/hr (Weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill neurological and trauma patients in the Neuro ICU.

• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor complex neurological and hemodynamic parameters.

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate individualized treatment plans.

• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, recovery expectations, and discharge planning.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.

• Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, utilizing ACLS protocols and critical thinking skills.

• Support process improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards to enhance patient outcomes.

Required:

• Current Florida RN license (or compact license with eligibility to obtain FL license within 60 days)

• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire

• ACLS (AHA) within 90 days of hire

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (ICU or higher acuity preferred; strong Med/Surg backgrounds considered)

• Unit Type: Neuro Intensive Care Unit

• Beds: 10

• Reports To: Jessica Davis, Nurse Manager
