New Grad RN Residency – HCA Florida West Marion Hospital

The program provides paid learning experiences including advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, simulation evaluation and evidence‑based practice projects.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers; document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications; monitor patient response and notify provider and intervene as needed.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipating and proactively resolving needs.
• Teach patients, families and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications and side effects, translating complex terminology into clear understanding.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
• Additional certifications may be required during employment
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state
• No previous experience required
• Some travel may be needed for training
