Job DescriptionConduct comprehensive patient assessments; develop and implement individualized care plans; administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor patient responses; provide education and counseling; collaborate with healthcare professionals; document patient care activities in EMR; ensure compliance with regulations and policies; participate in quality improvement initiatives; supervise and mentor nursing staff; maintain a safe work environment; and respond promptly to life‑threatening situations.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high‑quality care.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to life‑threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
- Associate's of Nursing (Required);
Bachelor's of Nursing also acceptable. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS), Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic EKG Certification (BEKG), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS), Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC), S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification, and other indicated certifications.
- Experience in acute/critical care environments is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
$31.53 - $52.24 per hour
