Job Description- Other duties as assigned.
- Practices in accordance with the established laws and policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards pertinent to nursing practice.
- Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes, involving the patient, family, and other healthcare providers in the evaluation process, and revising diagnoses, outcomes, and the plan of care as needed. Implements interventions identified in the plan of care in a safe, timely, and appropriate manner, documenting them accurately.
- Assists in the development of a plan of care prescribing interventions to attain expected outcomes, individualized to the patient’s condition and needs, and reflecting current nursing practice.
- Serves as a patient advocate in accordance with the patient bill of rights, ensuring legal and ethical practice. Coordinates and provides quality patient‑focused care in a physician’s clinic, assisting with procedures and communicating with patients regarding labs, medications, and referrals. Supervises and supports clinical staff through disciplinary and performance appraisal evaluation and management. Collaborates with laboratory director and clinics to establish appropriate policies and procedures, obtaining insurance referrals, authorizations, and precertifications.
Collects patient health data through systematic and ongoing assessment involving the patient, family, and other healthcare providers. Analyzes assessment data to determine and document nursing diagnoses, validating them with the patient, family, and other healthcare providers when appropriate. Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the patient, formulating them with the patient, family, and other healthcare providers, ensuring they are culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable.

- Technical/Vocational School (Required)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range: $20.97 - $38.99
