The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Food Runner to support the culinary and front-of-house teams at Genievieve’s; our elegant Italian dining concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who values precision, teamwork, and delivers a seamless guest experience.

As a Food Runner
, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of dishes from the kitchen to the dining room, maintaining presentation standards and supporting the overall flow of service.

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and with attention to presentation.
• Confirm that all dishes meet culinary and visual standards before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination.
• Assist with table maintenance, including clearing and resetting as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo stations and service areas.
• Support private dining and special event service with precision and professionalism.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor throughout service.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry trays for extended periods during service hours.
• Comfortable lifting and transporting plates, trays, and supplies (up to 25 pounds).
• Clear and effective communication in both verbal and written formats.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food runner or support role within an upscale or fine dining environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of food presentation and service etiquette.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and refined demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
