Host will greet guests as they arrive and set the tone for their experience. Warm and friendly demeanor, knowledgeable of resort operations, suggest menu items, check satisfaction.

• Maintain guest focus while performing duties
• Assume responsibility for quality guest experience
• Welcome and greet guests
• Seat guests in a timely and welcoming manner
• Inform server about new guests in their section
• Answer questions about food, beverages, restaurant and hotel functions and services
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment
• Complete opening and closing side work
• Maintain clean and stocked host desk
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience; ensure guests are satisfied with food and beverage service
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Clear and effective communication in predominant language(s) of guests
• Exceptional grooming habits
