A nationally recognized luxury hospitality destination is opening a brand-new, state‑of‑the‑art bakery venue—and we’re hiring a Head Bread Baker to take the lead. This role will launch and run operations inside the Baker’s Kitchen, a flagship venue under construction at the heart of a high‑profile events complex. Once open, the facility will supply all artisan breads property‑wide—including multiple hotels and four upscale restaurants.
From bagels to pretzels, sourdough to dinner rolls, this is a large‑scale, from‑scratch operation built for excellence.
- Lead all aspects of bread production across the property, ensuring consistent, high-quality output.
- Develop and execute an artisan bread program that supports fine dining and luxury service standards.
- Build and train a new bakery team within the Baker’s Kitchen venue.
- Oversee daily production, workflow, and schedules to meet the needs of multiple outlets.
- Collaborate with Executive Chefs and culinary leaders across the property.
- Manage dough fermentation, mixing, shaping, and baking processes for a wide variety of bread types.
- Maintain exceptional standards for taste, consistency, and presentation.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and quality control in a 24/7 culinary operation.
- Extensive experience as a Head or Lead Baker in fine dining, luxury hotels, or high‑end hospitality.
- Deep expertise in artisan bread production—including fermentation, starters, and scratch baking.
- Ability to manage high-volume output while maintaining precision and quality.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands‑on, collaborative style.
- Passion for building teams, mentoring staff, and creating world‑class bread.
- Competitive salary: starting at $100K–$150K+ (open to discussion based on experience).
- Monday–Friday schedule, with potentially weekend availability as needed during ramp‑up and beyond.
