As a Team Lead, you’ll work alongside the Management Team to help lead the restaurant during your shift. You’ll support the team, help keep operations running smoothly, and make sure our guests receive the experience they expect from us.

This is a hands on role. Team Leads are expected to lead from the floor, coach in the moment, step in when the team needs help, and set the example for how we take care of our guests and each other.

• Lead assigned shifts and help keep the restaurant running smoothly
• Perform opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
• Support the Management Team with daily restaurant operations
• Set the tone for the shift by leading with energy, consistency, and a positive attitude
• Coach, support, and develop team members throughout the shift
• Help onboard and train new team members
• Make sure guests receive friendly, timely, and consistent service
• Maintain expectations for food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant operations
• Help identify and resolve guest concerns
• Communicate team performance, concerns, and opportunities to restaurant management
• Reinforce iServ’s mission, values, and expectations through your own leadership
• Support both front of house and back of house operations as needed
• Operate the point of sale system and assist guests when needed
• Step in wherever needed to support the team and the needs of the restaurant
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned based on business needs

• At least one year of leadership experience in a high volume, full service restaurant
• Understanding of front of house and back of house restaurant operations
• General understanding of restaurant financial and operational performance
• Strong communication and people skills
• A leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
• Someone who is comfortable working alongside the team and leading by example
• A guest focused mindset and passion for hospitality
• Ability to stay organized, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast paced environment
• Dependable, positive, and team focused approach
• Flexible availability based on restaurant needs, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet company driver insurability requirements
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing in accordance with applicable law
