Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role involves acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate must maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Base Pay Range$14.00/hr – $14.00/hr
Responsibilities- Acquire and maintain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports in accordance with company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet and navigate electronic systems, using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three months of related experience or training preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems. - Certificates:
Local food handlers permit may be required.
Regularly required to stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances;
be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Work EnvironmentRetail store environment with limited travel.
Physical AppearanceMust present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
Language SkillsEnglish is the primary language. Bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
