Job DescriptionAs a Security Professional – Patrol Driver Logistics in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain highly visible throughout assigned areas.
You will play a key role in building a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic settings and are passionate about contributing to a secure workplace. - Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure setting.
- Document and report any security‑related incidents, observations, or concerns encountered during patrols.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel to promote a positive atmosphere while maintaining security‑related protocols.
- Support Allied Universal and client expectations by following all post orders and instructions specific to the location.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
