The Engineering Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repair at the World Equestrian Center. The Technician reports to the Chief Engineer or Supervisor and receives daily work orders and shift turnover communication.
Primary Responsibilities- Troubleshoot maintenance problems and repair equipment.
- Complete all work orders assigned by any department.
- Monitor and take readings of all heating/cooling and water systems daily.
- Repair HVAC equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Perform woodworking, wallpapering, painting, and drywall tasks.
- Complete minor electrical repairs.
- Execute the room preventative maintenance program as directed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Walking or standing continuously for 8 hours.
- Standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling as needed.
- Using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in maintenance or a related position.
- Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, pool, and plumbing systems.
- Guest service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Excellent follow‑up and attention to detail.
- Comprehension of system operations and ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to work in a high‑paced environment.
- Strong multitasking ability.
