Requisition
Responsibilities- Perform various duties required to fabricate wiring harnesses and install components, circuit modules, relays, diodes and harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for all types of electronic and electromechanical products.
- Responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, AC/DC drives, motors, and other devices, etc.
- Design and fabricate electrical boxes for installation of components.
- Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts and assemblies, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wire and components, using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect for proper installations and integrity.
- Use general and precision tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain necessary documentation and records.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies, equipment and accessories.
- Have strong knowledge in 12V as well as 120/240 systems. Able to meet all necessary testing and production requirements as required.
- Perform other related duties as required and as assigned.
- Perform other work as assigned. Employees in this level perform all functions listed above with a high degree of skill and independence.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least two years of experience in equivalent position.
- Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop.
- Must have use of hands and be able to work overhead.
- Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
