Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Perform complex building repairs using carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills.
  • Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Direct work and supervise vendors/technicians who repair and maintain equipment and/or systems.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards. Function as a team member within the department and organization, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
  • Perform a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Ensure proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems. Schedule, direct, and ensure satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors.
  • Schedule and facilitate vendor testing of emergency generator, sprinkler system alarms and other systems.
  • Record data from main electrical panels on a quarterly basis. Inspect various equipment and building areas (including air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems) and record data from inspections.
  • Provide support with conference room setup for meetings, caterings, and events.
  • Ensure receipt and accountability for all deliveries including Federal Express, office supplies, and postal service.
  • Maintain positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization by providing outstanding service and support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • 1+ year of maintenance experience (building or warehouse)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., inspecting equipment, making minor repairs, and supporting facility upkeep)
  • Must be able to work assigned shift schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as business needs require
  • Must be familiar with basic hand & power tools
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and follow-through in completing assigned tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates/2-year technical degree
  • 2+ years maintenance and repair experience in warehouse or related area
  • Certifications:

    OSHA Forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
