Overnight Event Traffic Coordinator; Seasonal

The Overnight Event Traffic Coordinator (Seasonal) at the World Equestrian Center Ocala is responsible for managing traffic during events, directing vehicle and pedestrian flow, and ensuring a safe, smooth experience for visitors. The Traffic Safety personnel must deliver excellent customer service that reflects Quality, Class, and Distinction.

• Schedule is 6:00pm to 6:00 am
• guard house horse trailer enforcement
• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Provide directional assistance in accordance with daily strategy.
• Consistent availability coinciding with the WEC events calendar (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Knowledge of daily events, parking locations, and ideal traffic patterns to maximize safety and efficiency.
• Directing and prioritizing traffic movement to minimize delays while warning of hazards.
• Monitoring traffic flow and identifying bottlenecks to mitigate vehicle obstructions while locating safe
• intervals through which vehicles and pedestrians can safely drive/cross roadways.
• Communicating traffic and parking rules and other information to guests and pedestrians.
• Communicating occupancy and congestion information to leadership.
• Reporting unsafe behavior of drivers and pedestrians to leadership and security.
• Distributing traffic control signs and markers at designated points, as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
