Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse is a professional who provides patient care, aiming to help patients attain, maintain, and restore health. Responsibilities include utilizing the Nursing Process within applicable standards and guidelines, including the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards, and CDC Infection Control Guidelines.
Minimum Requirements- Graduate from NLN-accredited School of Nursing
- Current unrestricted Mississippi State RN license
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification; additional certifications required for specialty areas
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred
Requires physical stamina, mental acuity, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with computers and clinical judgment. Must complete de-escalation training within 90 days of employment.
