A community college in Oceanside is seeking temporary, hourly police dispatchers to backfill during sick leave, vacation, or training. The position involves prioritizing emergency calls, providing dispatching services, and operating a computer-aided dispatch system. Successful candidates will initially work 40 hours per week until trained, followed by 18 to 40 hours as needed. Compensation is $36.00 per hour, available anytime from Monday through Saturday between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.
