Job Title: Part-Time Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
Company: Platinum Therapy
Platinum Therapy is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy services. We are currently seeking multiple Full-Time Adaptive Physical Education Teachers for in-person school-based roles in Oceanside, CA.
Responsibilities- Provide adaptive physical education instruction to students with diverse physical and developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualized physical education plans
- Collaborate with IEP teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and performance
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Valid California Adaptive Physical Education Specialist Credential
- Experience working with students with disabilities in educational settings
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Ability to adapt physical activities to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Salary: $40–$55/hour (commensurate with experience)
