Location:
within the Mira Costa College District; assignments may include days, evenings, or weekends and may be at any campus or authorized facility.
Responsibilities:
- Under direction, plan, organize, and teach assigned courses in alignment with approved course outlines, education code requirements, and faculty contract provisions.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students and evaluate student performance.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Compensation: $89.79 to $105.04 per hour, based on education level.
Residency Requirement:
All associate faculty must maintain a permanent residence in California within 200 road miles of the assigned district worksite. Fully online assignments must reside in California, though may live outside the 200‑mile limit if approved. Exceptions may be granted for up to 12 consecutive months on a case‑by‑case basis.
Final date to receive applications:
Valid through June 30, 2026. The pool will be re‑posted on July 1, 2026; applicants must reapply then if still interested.
