Job Description
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Pay: $31.44 - $33.65 an hour depending on experience

As an IT Service Agent you will:
IT Service Agent performs various functions to keep computer systems in top working condition. This position will be responsible for keeping internal users active and addressing production concerns as well as monitoring information security solutions to ensure compliance and protection of keys systems and data.
What will my responsibilities include?- Talk to users over the phone, via email or face-to-face to provide solutions to technical problems
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify issues
- Develop and implement technical procedures effective in quickly addressing users’ problems to minimize downtime
- Carry out assessments to determine the need for changes in hardware/software configurations
- Educate users on procedures for resolving or preventing recurrence of a technical problem
- Explain and provide IT solutions to users in non-technical and comprehensible terms
- Prepare and present reports to update management on IT support operations
- Operate and work with equipment such as smartboards, external storage devices, computer diagnostic tools, printers etc.
- Respond to inquiries about hardware or software issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance on computer systems to ensure efficient operations
- Repair or replace faulty components of a computer/network system
- Monitor systems and infrastructure to ensure no anomalies and address any that occur
- Develop solutions to address internal situations that may arise within operations, office functions, or general IT/IS infrastructure.
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
Qualifications:
What key skills and experience do I need?- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
Associate’s degree in computer science, networking or a related discipline or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s is preferred.
Two years’ experience in the IT Industry. Some experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
Requires working knowledge of computer, scanner, facsimile machine, copier and any other standard office equipment
Requires basic arithmetic skills to perform basic calculations
High understanding of computer systems, functions, and operation
Requires ability to assess facts and develop conclusions
