Risk and Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the IT Security and Risk Management department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to compliance and risk mitigation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Risk and Compliance Analyst

Location:Oceanside, California

Pay Range: up to $53.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Review software, tools, and vendor agreements for risk and compliance considerations
• Assess vendors and software against security and policy requirements
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including risk assessments, summaries, and compliance checklists
• Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and internal compliance standards
• Identify gaps or risks and expedite as needed, working closely with IT, procurement, and business teams

What's Needed?

• 1–2+ years of experience in IT security, IT compliance, risk management, or related roles
• Ability to review and interpret software and vendor documentation
• Strong writing skills; able to create clear, organized, formal documentation
• Understanding of basic security and compliance concepts (e.g., access control, data handling, security frameworks)
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to work independently
