Position Summary

HPP/Bottling: Forklift operator duties vary across different operations departments. In the HPP/Bottling area, the forklift operator is responsible for promptly storing bins of juice after they are filled and discharged from the filler. Additionally, the operator must ensure that the HPP process is continuously supplied with juice, keeping bin dumpers stocked and ready. The operator must also organize bins of juice to prevent any mixing.

In the bottling department, the forklift operator may be responsible for transporting materials, which requires the use of Net Suite via computer, phone, or handheld devices. Therefore, tech-savantiness and familiarity with applications are essential. Other responsibilities include organizing pallets and materials, managing dunnage, and loading trailers. The operator will also need to locate and deliver empty bins as needed.

Packaging/Packout: The forklift operator in Packaging/Packout is tasked with moving completed pallets onto the shrink wrap machine and accurately documenting pallet counts for both packaging and pack-out. It is essential to wrap and document pallets in real time. The operator is also responsible for organizing areas within Packaging/Packout, returning unused materials to their designated areas, and transferring them back through the Net Suite/RF Smart system.
