Registered Nurse (RN) - MED/SURG - ONCOLOGY at Tri-City Medical Center. • Maintains a safe, clean working environment in accordance with unit safety and infection control requirements.
• Performs patient assessments and develops, implements and evaluates the effectiveness of interdisciplinary plans of care for patients with various diagnoses.
• Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics; provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals.
• Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and volunteers as appropriate.
• Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients  and caregivers  rights as identified within the institution.

• Registered Nurse (RN) / Transitional Experience
• Acute Care / Hospital experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred
• Current chemotherapy experience, preferred

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License, required

• Current BLS required upon hire;
  American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
• ONS chemotherapy & biotherapy provider, required within 6 months of hire or transfer

• Each new hire candidate must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
• Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
