ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE:
Per diem nursing assignments in the Health Services Department at Mira Costa College, starting with training during summer 2019, if possible. To view the Health Services Department website, go to http://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..html

COMPENSATION:
Per diem paid at $32.56 per hour (range 25) (will increase to $33.13 effective July 1, 2019).

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under direction, provide nursing care and health services including testing, nursing assessment and first aid to students and staff; disseminate health services information and provide specialized assistance and counseling regarding individual health needs; maintain a variety of health records; and perform related duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited (recognized by either the U.S. Department of Education or the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation) four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in nursing, public health or a related field.
• One year (either full time or the equivalent to full time) of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• CPR/AED card for healthcare providers. Course must meet American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid California driver license.
