Piper restaurant, located at The Seabird Resort in sunny Oceanside, CA. Guests enjoy fresh, handmade pastas and garden‑to‑table delicacies in a bright, convivial, California‑coastal setting just off the beach. The restaurant is open in the morning for breakfast and freshly pressed juice. By night, Piper transforms into a warmly intimate space with an open kitchen, full bar and wraparound outdoor patio.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities include scheduling, forecasting, training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, and adhering to all operating procedures. The role may also coordinate special events at the hotel. Strong communication and analytical skills are required. Experience in food and beverage cost control is helpful.

• Minimum of 2+ years in F&B Management position.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
• Ideal applicant will have strong organizational skills, ability to work with a flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader.
• Must be able to provide full availability each week including weekends, holidays and overnights.
• Commitment to follow food safety protocols.
• Must be of age to serve and pour alcohol in CA.
