Join our Michelin Star restaurant and award‑winning Chef Roberto Alcocer at Vallé, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen that draws on the traditions of Mexico’s renowned wine region and the bounty of local farms and sea food to create bold cuisine paired with a selection of Mexican wine. The restaurant offers a seaside dining veranda in the Dining Room, beautiful ocean views, and an intimate experience with a Chef's tasting menu or a la carte, as well as a private dining room for up to eight guests.
SummaryThis Server position is responsible for presenting food and beverage options and submitting guest menu selections. The right person will gain menu knowledge, provide recommendations from our cuisine and drink offerings, engage in casual conversation, and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. The server will memorize the menu and wine pairing options, upsell as applicable, and correctly process final payment upon the guest’s departure.
Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. The hourly rate is $17.85/hr.

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Fine Dining or Michelin Star rated restaurant.
- Knowledge of wine pairings.
- Preferred experience in fine dining Mexican cuisine restaurant.
- Knowledge of the Forbes standards.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to quality, excellence, and genuine hospitality.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (repetitive lift, push, pull, and carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 75 lbs.).
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder.
- Must perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling, and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- English fluency (read, write, and speak).
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Must be available Tuesday – Saturday. Valle is open for dinner service only.
