• Read and write English, and interact with the general public and coworkers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to customers and employees.
• Use common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

• Maintain assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, check product dates for rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior, exterior, and parking areas.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies.
