A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor on site, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

• Manage and support store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Work effectively with store management and store crews; supervise, assign tasks and follow up on all activities.
• Effectively communicate information between store management and crews.
• Provide exceptional customer service: assist customers with questions, problems and complaints, promote CVS customer service culture, and handle all customer relations in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Manage merchandise and presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, sign and inventory weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, and reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekends and overtime as needed, and respond to urgent store issues.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Part time

$18.50 – $27.50 per hour.
