Design Specialist (In-Home Sales)

Commission only. Base range: $55,000.00 – $ per year.

Field-based role requiring regular travel to client locations in the San Clemente area.

• Design and provide expert advice to customers on landscape solutions.
• Sell customers on top‑tier eco‑friendly and PFA‑free products.
• Help customers visualize their dream landscapes through creativity.
• Work exclusively with warm leads; no door knocking or cold calling.
• Attend appointments set by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Join weekly team meetings at the corporate office.
• Acquire in‑depth knowledge of products and services.
• Provide on‑site quotes to customers accurately.
• Assist customers with installation issues.
• Walk sites with customers and subcontractors on job start dates.
• Convert all leads into sales daily.
• Implement company‑defined sales tactics.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from job starts to final install.
• Design personalized landscapes for customers.
• Secure contracts and payments efficiently.
• Maintain communication with current and past customers.
• Gather information for weekly sales meetings.
• Monitor emails regularly.
• Track work‑related hours by clocking in and out daily.
• Report on‑site or customer issues to the supervisor.
• Review contracts with customers and answer their questions.

• Preferred experience in artificial turf or landscaping.
• Exceptional communication skills.

• At least 1 year of previous outside sales experience.
• Ability to measure accurate square footage.
• Familiarity with Gmail, Google Drive, Buildertrend, and other CRM systems.
• Creative thinking with the ability to sketch and draw.
• Reliable transportation.
