Greater New York Anesthesia Services is a joint venture led by Mount Sinai Health System. As a physician led and physician governed practice in the Greater New York City and Long Island areas, we are growing our physician team. We are welcoming applicants to join us in a wide variety of cases, along with OB, Level II Trauma, neuro, and expanding to cardiac surgical services in 2026.

Providing anesthesia services at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital, we offer a work environment that is collaborative, friendly, non-hierarchal, and transparent. Hospital Description: Mount Sinai South Nassau is an acute care and teaching hospital with 455 beds located in Oceanside, NY. The award-winning nonprofit facility is part of the Mount Sinai Health System. We are a Level 2 Trauma Center with a large case mix of General, ENT, Orthopedics, Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, Hepatobiliary, Vascular, Bariatric, Gyn, Urology, Robotics, General and Interventional Endoscopy, and IR/Neurointerventional.

Labor and delivery with 2500 deliveries a year. Open Heart cases to start in 2026. Physicians currently doing own cases about 50% of the time with a strong CRNA care team model and it continues to grow. The hospital is undergoing a lot of growth under the Mount Sinai Health System and new facilities, service lines, and operating rooms are under construction.

In addition to the main campus in Oceanside, Mount Sinai Health System has nine additional satellite facilities throughout the region. Our group currently services up to 22 anesthetizing locations. Candidates do not have to be cross-credentialed at other facilities. The facility was opened in 1928 and is the Long Island flagship hospital for the Mount Sinai Health System, serving the community for nearly 100 years.
