Account Executive - Oceanside, NY

Our client, a well-known and respected 50 person Oceansidebroker seeks an
* licenced* Account Executive to handle a book of business for three producers who are actively soliciting new accounts. The book is fairly general. Duties include marketing and placing new and renewal business, contact with clients, carriers and producers, preparing applications, gathering underwriting data, analyzing and comparing coverage quotes, policy checking, processing, etc. Accounts pay $20,000 to $500,000 in annual premium.

• 5+ years of insurance industry experience servicing clients
• NYS Property and Casualty license is a must
• Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage business
• Experience supporting and servicing typical middle market commercial clients
• TAM agency management experience is a big plus
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to navigate, rate and quote on any of the following carrier websites such as Chubb, CNA, Fireman’s Fund, Greater NY Mutual, Hanover, Harleysville, Hartford, Ironshore, NY Central Mutual, Philadelphia, Progressive, PSM, Seneca, Tower Insurance Co, Travelers, Utica First, Utica National and or Zurich
