Job description
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing medical care to animals, administering medications, and performing laboratory tests. This individual must also be able to communicate effectively with pet owners and have a passion for animal welfare. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals, maintaining records, and providing customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to animals.
Administer medications and treatments prescribed by veterinarians.
Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis, blood counts, and parasite exams.
Assist in surgery preparation and recovery.
Provide client education on animal health care.
Maintain medical records and prepare reports.
Monitor vital signs of animals in recovery.
Provide support to veterinarians during examinations.
