Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Maintain command presence: professional appearance, wearing designated dress standards, radio, earpiece.
• Position at front of the store, stay vigilant and aware of surroundings.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting.
• Reduce opportunities for theft and create a secure environment.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates.
• Report theft incidents or suspicious individuals to Manager on Duty.

• Master knowledge of top shortage areas and support theft reduction programs.
• Communicate theft prevention information during store rallies, collaborating with Manager on Duty.
• Understand role in keeping store assets safe and secure.

• Support training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Model safety as top priority and address unsafe practices promptly.

• 1+ years experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Analyze business trends.
• Positive demeanor, strong posture, energetic greeting.
• Work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with detail focus.
• Excellent communication with customers and co‑workers.
• Leadership skills supporting productive business relationships.
