Summary:

Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter

Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to develop in a challenging role and lead others?

• Designs and erects various types of scaffolds.
• Lead Carpenter mentors and coaches Scaffold E&D Carpenters to aid in their development.
• Work with tools and manage on-site activities under supervision.

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E&D Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

• Ability to safely and effectively manage a small crew to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of an E&D Foreman on site.
• Good knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Knowledge of various types of scaffolding materials to ensure loads are not exceeded.
• Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials.

The physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

Base Pay Range: $18.62 - 23.27 per hour. Sunbelt Rentals provides a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), time off, disability and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP, and length of service awards. Eligibility for benefits begins on the first of the month following 30 days from start date. Vacation and holiday time off are available in accordance with company policy.
