Materials Controller​/Saw Operator

This role is responsible for the efficient and orderly functioning of the raw materials storage areas. You will perform a variety of sawing and related operations in a custom shop environment. Sentry Equipment, located in Oconomowoc, is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and servicing unique sampling systems for the power and process industries. • Manage the raw materials storage, including audits, record-keeping, and inventory management.
• Operate equipment such as band saws, drill presses, grinders, and chop saws, working with materials like stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic metals.
• Unload and review documentation, receive raw materials, and organize them appropriately.
• Pull, cut, and issue materials using the company’s computer system.
• Translate between code and non-code requirements and transfer trace numbers to relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate inventories and assist with cycle counts.

• Experience with drill presses, band saws, and other cutting equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions, and use measuring instruments.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
• Attention to detail, safety-consciousness, and teamwork orientation.
